ENGLISH - Only one regret, that this CD has only 6 tracks, because they are all excellent instances of different artists like Andy Reynolds (Beer Bottle Mama), Louis Innis (It Don’t Pay to Advertise), Lefty Frizzell (Always Late With Your Kisses, which appears on the album Elvis Presley Live at the Louisiana Hayride) or the Carter Family (Juke Box Blues, Wildwood Flower). Mia Johnson (vocals), Dave Young (vocals, guitar) who looks like a rock star, Tom McKernan (bass) and Mark Shewchuk (drums) are located on the eastern slope of western hillbilly swing, and in the titles chosen, they add a honky tonk ballad. It's refreshing and recommended. (Bernard Boyat)

ENGLISH - Like Janus, Western Swing has two sides, a black (Swing side) and a white (Western side). This quartet, consisting of Mia Johnson (vocals), Dave Young (vocals, guitar), Tom McKernan (bass) and Mark Shewchuk (drums) favors the Hillbilly side. There are, unfortunately, only 6 tracks on this self-titled CD, where they went to look for titles from Andy Reynolds (Beer Bottle Mama), Louis Innis (It Don’t Pay To Advertise), Smiley Burnette (It's My Lazy Day), Lefty Frizzell (Always Late with Your Kisses, which Elvis had covered during his Sun period) and the Carter Family (Blues Juke box, Wildwood Flower). Refreshing and recommended.
